Everyone is welcome:
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Quiet meditation in Zen style
6:30– 7:00 p.m. Samu (preparing zendo)
7:00 – 7:30 p.m. Evening Meditation
7:25 – 7:35 p.m. Walking Meditation
7:35 – 8:00 p.m. Meditation and Private Interview
8:00 – 9:00 p.m. Silent tea, Dharma Talk, Discussion and Chanting
9:00 – 9:10 p.m. Washing bowls, cleaning, and departure together

Those attending for the first time should join from seven to nine p.m. and request beginning instruction which is provided free of charge by a senior student each week. With prior arrangement, free child care can be provided from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (call 503 949-3188 to request).

It is possible to then attend just the 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. meditation or just the 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. program or both. The full Wednesday evening program is structured to offer a short weekly Zazenkai for the more serious/ long-term Zen student (from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with service positions assigned to those who are able).
